Hello Hong Kong!
I’m serious when I say my life is crazy. In a good way. But still, it’s crazy nonetheless. I went to Hong Kong this week for a fun project with Paul Smith. They invited me to style his capsule collection of scarves and pocket squares called ‘Daydreaming With My Camera’ and you’ll see the images on various magazines and press in Hong Kong on November.

I *love* Hong Kong! It’s one of my favourite cities in the world. Terrific service wherever you go, the food is soo good and the shopping is great. After spending almost 3 days flying from (and to) New York City, it’s kinda sad that I could only stay for two days because I have another trip coming up.

THIS IS THE BEST THING ON THE FUCKING INTERNET. RIGHT NOW.

Leather Bottoms Fetish
I can’t put my finger on it but clearly I’m on something. I’ve been buying leather garments like mad over the past few months — leather shorts from Alexander Wang, Phillip Lim, Weekday, Barbara Bui, leather jackets, leather pants from pretty much everywhere and now this — cropped leather trousers from Acne. All I need is a leather harness. Who knew there’s a Peter Marino in me?

Shine Bright Like A Louis Vuitton Diamond!
Some of you on Facebook have seen a shot or two from this series that I took during our road trip across Utah and Nevada a few months ago. I know I haven’t blogged this series so allow me to share to you, my dearest blog readers, one of my fave photo sets ever.

So shine bright tonight, you and I. We’re beautiful, like diamonds in the sky. Eye to eye, so alive. We’re beautiful like diamonds in the sky. Shine bright like a diamond, shine bright like a diamond, we’re beautiful like diamonds in the sky.

Silver, Glittery Goodness
Are you a coat or a jacket kind of person? I’m both. My beloved Ennio from Costume National sent me this amazing, glittery, silver half-jacket, half-coat when I was in Paris. It’s the perfect piece to wear this autumn. I have a feeling it’s gonna get a lot of mileage from me this season. Afterall, I love a bit of sparkle regardless of the time of the day.

I Cried IRL Watching Myself Cry Online.
Happy Saturday! I hope you guys are watching Cycle 19 of America’s Next Top Model. I know I haven’t had the chance to keep up with all the episodes because of Fashion Month and it’s only until now that I managed to get caught up. I found this clip on YouTube and I must say this is the WORST elimination ever.
I’m not gonna lie. I kinda shed a tear just now watching myself cry while wearing Givenchy.

Little Gray Riding Hood Likes It Rough
The last few blog entries were kinda fashion-y, I think we need a quick breather. Here’s my take on pedestrian dressing. I feel like this look is so rampant especially amongst young people in big cities where it can get a bit cold. I know I’m probably the last person in the world to wear sweatpants, a white t-shirt, hoodie AND a leather jacket to top it all off. It’s a different look, I agree, but is it comfortable? A little, yes. Is this me? Maybe not. But I like it, nonetheless.
