Now that fashion week season is over, I finally a) got my poor old laptop fixed and b) have time to catch up with work. Remember my lil' contest? Well, congratulations to Celina Dayacap who submitted her "In a crowd, I stand out" entry and Flip Guangco for his "Jacob's Shawarma" photo. Both of you are my Week 1 and Week 2 winners. Keep an eye out for your email with prize information.

Since it's Tuesday today, let me announce this week's theme: Halloween!

Some of my old readers with good memory might remember this shot of me four years ago. *cringe*

Now all you need to do is to post pictures of YOU sporting a funny Halloween party outfit -- it could be an old photo or a new one -- into Nokia OVI on or before Sunday, November 1.

To join the contest:

1. Create an OVI account and activate your OVI email address
2. Once you have your OVI account set-up, upload your photo entries photo on this special OVI folder.
3. Be sure to include your name, your OVI email address and a short description of every photo you upload.
4. You may submit as many photos/entries as you want as long as it matches the theme, in this case, HALLOWEEN.
5. You must own the rights to the photo.

The entry I like the best shall win a P2,000 Ayala electronic gift check. Deadline for this week's contest is this Sunday, November 1, 2009 so submit your entries ASAP.

I'm going to Paris in a few hours and I'm 104% backblogged. Oh the life of a one-man traveling blogger circus. I have tons of stories and photos to share from Melbourne, New York and Milan!

If you live in the Philippines, OVI by NOKIA has been generous enough to sponsor a photo contest. It's quite simple, really. All you need to do is upload photos of your latest fashion discovery to Nokia's OVI site by clicking HERE. It could be any photo that you took yourself as long as it's fashion-related: your recent purchase, what you are wearing now, your favourite fashion accessory, models you've met, a new shop or fashionable hang out you recently discovered, etc.

To join the contest, create an OVI account and activate your OVI email address. Once you have your OVI account set-up, upload your photo entries photo on this special contest folder. Important: don't forget to include your name, your OVI email address and a short description of every photo you upload. You may upload as many photos as you want as long as they are fashion-related. That's all you need to do.

Contest runs for eight weeks and I'll personally chose a winner each week. This week's prize is P2,000 worth of Ayala electronic gift check. First contest runs from September 28, 2009 - October 4, 2009. Moving forward, the deadline is every Sunday.

Out of all the eight weekly winners, a grand prize winner will be chosen and shall win a Nokia 2330 phone so get those cameras clicking and start uploading to OVI now!

If you haven't bought the December 2008 issue of Style: magazine, do so now! I FIIIINALLLLLLY got hold of the last four copies at the airport (Terminal 2). I'm not sure IF or WHEN they'll replenish it but I've been told by a few readers they're having trouble getting hold of their own copy because it's been sold out at a few locations. I really do hope that's the case. I want **MY** issue to be flying off the shelves so that Wayne Sterling can also say on camera that I'm moving issues like Natasha Poly... and then I'll get to shoot MOOOOAR editorials and spreads. Hahaha! No seriously, buy one or two copies now. I'm going to Singapore soon (when... I don't know. But still.) and I'd be more than happy to sign them for you. Feeling model/celebrity attention hog much?

I got four issues and two of them went to my little humble press album. I'm sending one to my friend in Canada which means I have another copy to give away FOR FREE, signed, sealed, delivered, to someone who ISN'T in Singapore.
