As many of you guys know, I recently visited Seoul, South Korea as a guest judge for an episode of Project Runway Korea All-Stars. I had so much fun doing it. The challenge for the designer contestants was to create a head-to-toe look inspired by my sense of style. They went through my closet in my hotel room to be inspired. I guess over the years I’m kind of known of my crazy, eccentric looks. Little did they know I showed up on panel in one of my conservative looks — in H2T Giorgio Armani, Prada shoes and my favorite Peter Som coat. The looks the designers created were cute. Some were able to capture the essence of my personal style while some failed. It was interesting nonetheless to see what they created based on their limiter knowledge of me. Fun times all around!
Thank you so much Project Runway Korea for having me! I love love love working I’m television!
Happy Saturday! I hope you guys are watching Cycle 19 of America’s Next Top Model. I know I haven’t had the chance to keep up with all the episodes because of Fashion Month and it’s only until now that I managed to get caught up. I found this clip on YouTube and I must say this is the WORST elimination ever.
I’m not gonna lie. I kinda shed a tear just now watching myself cry while wearing Givenchy.
Have you heard of the TV series GCB (Good Christian Belles — originally named Good Christian Bitches)? I need to get into this program. My friend Eva from Teen Vogue brought this to my radar, now that Desperate Housewives is about to end. This looks interesting. Christians who hide their sins behind the facade of being ‘god-fearing’ etc entertain me to no end!
I went to the rooftop of the Empire Hotel right across the Lincoln Center a couple of days ago to film my first interview/venture on mainstream American television: E! News with Giuliana Rancic.
Have you seen this interview? CNN featured Phillip Lim a few months back. Be sure to watch it if you have the time. I admire Phillip’s sensibilities, values and of course, his business model. His story is inspirational!
I have to thank my friend Gabi for corrupting my mind with my newfound obsession: Anna Anka. TBH, nothing entertains me more than a foul-mouthed, middle-aged, thin, tall, wealthy blonde housewife. They’re so much better than the faux saccharine sugary sweet youngsters we see on television these days. Glee, anyone?
Anna’s such a big star now in Sweden. She rose to fame thanks to the tv show “Swedish Hollywood Wives”.
Is that dress an Azzedine Alaïa? Anyway, click click for more!
