A few of you have emailed asking me what the Prada menswear spring/summer 2011 fashion show invitation looks like. Well, here it is.
I also added a “Show Invitations” category. I’ll post pictures of show invites there when I have the time.
I know, right. I speak as if I have lots of time. It’s true what my dad taught me when I was a kid: free time is the most luxurious thing to have in the world.
Let’s take a break from the glittering world of haute couture and allow me to share to you a video I took from the Dunhill spring/summer 2011 fashion show finale in Paris. Here’s the view from my seat. I love how this collection is much different from his last collection; a bit more relaxed, less severe and less structured but very fine nonetheless. Immaculate is the world. The Dunhill man is a good-looking man, let me tell you that.
My friend Kim Jones also gave me a preview a few days before the show. I’ll share the pics at a later post. You’ll die with the accessories. Enjoy!
View from my seat at the BOSS Black/Hugo Boss spring/summer 2011 fashion show here in Berlin.
Some of the models I’ve spotted at the show: Rose Cordero, Jourdann Dunn, Jessica Stam and Iris Strubegger.
Also, the super cute German Actor, David Kross was one of my seatmates. See the video above. He sat beside me on my right. It’s funny because I didn’t recognize who he was until after the show when a frind told me he was one of the actors on that beautiful film The Reader, starring Kate Winslet. I saw that movie on the plane from Manila to Amsterdam not too long ago.
Oh snap! A very irate and condescending reader recently emailed me saying it’s a faux pas to repeat outfits at events and questioned why I repeat outfits. Well, try losing your luggage and try not having a gargantuan clothing allowance. Don’t we all wish we can buy anything we want and throw it away to the back of the closet after wearing it once?
At Dior Homme here in Paris, Isaaclikes took a photo of me and Carine (in a VA-Va-VOOM polka dot Dolce & Gabbana dress) sharing a laugh before the show.
That Dolce & Gabbana dress is stunning, no?
Wind the clocks a week earlier, I took a photo of Denni and the fabulous Carine Roitfeld at the Dolce & Gabbana menswear 20th anniversary celebration in Milan.
