I was blown away when Raf Simons sent those spring/summer 2011 floral looks down the runway at Jil Sander. Like everything else in fashion (yes, I saw the new spring/summer 2011 Prada baroque and monkey t-shirts at the store the other day), if you can’t get the full look, why not get the t-shirt?

Have you seen the latest video lookbook from Prada?
Prada spring/summer 2011 is THE collection of the season. Everyone in Milan, left, right and center, wore Prada. How can you not fall in love with the bold colours, the strong stripes, the sheer genius of baroque, monkey and banana prints? Miuccia is the best!
Beth Ditto + Jean Paul Gaultier Spring Summer 2011 Finale
I got the dreaded "white screen of death" on my Blackberry yesterday, rendering my phone useless. It's a good thing I saved everything on my MicroSD card rather than its internal memory so let me share you a treasure I took in Paris last month — the finale of the Jean Paul Gaultier spring/summer 2011 fashion show.
I apologize for the quality of this video as the Gaultier show was held at night. My camera ran out of batteries hence the use of my Blackberry.
After seeing Beth Ditto in real life I must say I'm now a big fan. Incredible, incredible woman!
Chanel Spring Summer Backstage – Hair, Make-up and Model Overload!
Here’s the scene backstage (hair & make-up) at Chanel spring summer 2011. The majority of the girls had a super straight, super sleek pony tail. As for make-up, a bit of dark eyeshadow and eyeliner to emphasize the eyes, a little bit of blush and nothing else.
Two days before their spectacular show, the wonderful folks at Chanel emailed to ask if I was interested going backstage before the show. Here’s the catch: my call time was 7AM, as in seven o’clock in the morning.
As you know, it’s been a crazy fashion month. Come to think of it, I only did three cities this time around (New York, Milan and Paris). Hopefully I’ll do London next season. Here are some photos from the ‘Front Row‘ sections of Style.com/Style.it (the Italian version of Style.com). This entry was inspired by the entry I did during the fall/winter 2010 shows.
