Congratulations to me. I’ve just made my first ever Tory Burch purchase. I saw these cute shearling and leather boots at Net-a-Porter earlier this morning. I need a warm and casual every day boot I could wear on my fashion circus days off. Just a few weeks ago I was thinking about buying my first pair of Uggs because the temperatures are not going anywhere but south. So happy I held myself back.

Are you Florence-bound this spring? From now until June 1, 2012, the Salvatore Ferragamo Museum has a new exhibition called “Secret Archives”. The museum (Piazza Santa Trinita 5/2, Florence) is open every day from 10AM to 6PM except on Tuesday. For more information, visit http://www.museoferragamo.com.

Sneaker wedges are nothing new. A few seasons ago, before the whole Isabel Marant madness exploded, I got a pair from See by Chloe in navy. I’ve been lusting over these Marc by Marc Jacobs sneaker wedges ever since I saw them on the runway last September. I love the three inch hidden heel inside (perfect for vertically-challenged people like myself) and of course, the changeable shoelaces. So cute! At $320, the price point is much friendlier than the distant Isabel Marant cousin. The sneaker comes in two multi-color versions, one with a white base and another in navy blue.

Spring/summer is always a good season for Prada. It’s no secret that Mama Miuccia makes some of the best men’s shoes around. I love how they followed-through on the success of the spring 2011 blockbuster “flatform” brogues (here’s a pic of me around the same time LAST YEAR) by releasing yet another multi-colored twist on a time-tested classic: the golf shoe.

A trip to Milan won’t be complete without paying Prada (aka handing out cash you’ve earned in between seasons) a visit. I picked up two of their stunning spring/summer 2012 shoes before Fashion Week began.

Black mesh bootie by 3.1 Phillip Lim, houndstooth loafer gifted by Versace, sneakers by Pierre Hardy (click HERE to buy), golf shoes from Prada.

My stylist friend Rogelio first introduced me to the world of Louis Leeman Paris sometime last year but it wasn’t until last month when I went to Pitti Uomo that I realized how gorgeous Louis’ shoes are. Fast forward to New York Fashion Week and I found myself salivating once again when Mr. Leeman had his presentation a few days ago. I had goosebumps when I saw the entire range — his shoes are incredibly well-made. I love the classic shapes with modern embellishments such as teeny touches of metal, caviar beads, etc. How can you not fall in love with these shoes? Men’s shoes have never been soo chic! A retailer would be VERY stupid not to sell these shoes…

One of my current obsessions are velvet footwear. I bought three pairs of velvet shoes lately…

Alexander Wang’s Andrea boots are so cute. I love the slits, the laces and the shape! I’m always on the hunt for nice flat boots and these babies are just right. I could see this as an every day shoe — perfect for those days when all you want to do is to chillax in a sweater and a pair of skinnies.

I don’t know about you but I’m currently going through a golden age when it comes to my taste in shoes. I love my new babies from George Esquivel and Pedro Garcia.

These glittery golden Pedro Garcia flats are also available in silver. Click HERE to buy them from Net-a-Porter.
