Avenue Montaigne, I love you so much. I could spend the entire afternoon mincing around the area. It’s all about Marni and Montaigne Market, followed by a late lunch at L’Avenue and a quick run-through of all the new things at Celine and finally, go off the beaten path by visiting Balenciaga and Givenchy. Don’t you just wish life was this easy? Oh to dream… I suppose Avenue Montaigne is best at small doses. That’s what luxury is all about. Just a teeny, tiny, scoopful. It loses its value if you serve too much…

Oh the things that we do, the places we’ll go to get that photo taken. The Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah was the crown jewel of our recent road trip. Located just a few hours drive from Salt Lake City, the salt flats is the most incredible, most picturesque, most desolate place I’ve ever set foot in my whole life. No words can describe the emotions I felt when I was there. Imagine being separated from humanity and being in touch with planet Earth — no roads, no lights, no traces of culture, civilization or man-made items. Very post-apocalyptic.

Guys, don’t forget to pick up the September issue of Glamour magazine. Victoria Beckham is on the cover (and the guest Editor!!) of the latest issue. I also have a two-page love & relationship advice column there. Check it out and let me know what you think. I had fun answering these questions. Thank you so much Glamour! I hope to do more of these in the future.

My limited-edition red Jil Sander beanie finally arrived after ordering it from the Jil Sander online store. I took it out for a spin while driving around West Hollywood with my boyfriend and Rumi. We were scouting for cute houses to rent… or to use as photo backdrops. Los Angeles is filled with these gorgeous, green bushy hedges. I love them!

Greetings from Venezia! I’m back in Italy (and mind you, back into my daily work grind) after a quick vacation back home in the Manila. The BF and I thought it would be a great idea to take visit Venice (the real one, not the Las Vegas version) now instead of going here during summer. The two-and-a-half hour train from Milan (which felt as if it was the longest train ride of my life) was worth it. Venice is soo beautiful! It’s probably my favourite Italian city so far.

Here’s the view from the fall/winter 2012 Michael Kors fashion show an hour ago. I’m so GLAD I made it — I literally got to my seat just seconds before the show started. WHAT A GORGEOUS, CHIC show! More photos to follow…

One of the stops I made during FNO Tokyo was the Michael Kors store in Omotesando where Michael himself held court. I’m so happy that I met him once again!

I’ve been to his office in New York and let me tell you, he’s all about luxury. I remember doing a re-see of his fall 2011 collection and I saw racks upon racks of gorgeous furs, exotic skins (remember my Michael Kors python coat) and garments with the highest quality fabrics. The Michael Kors woman is chic, super chic! It’s all about the Michael Kors cashmere sweater, it’s all about the Michael Kors cashmere coat. I’ve been keeping track of his work since he used to design for Celine! I must have been what, fifteen years old? Oh how fast time flies…
