Eva Mendes for Vogue Germany
I think it's been awhile since German Vogue put a celebrity on their covers so to see Eva Mendes (February 2010 issue) is a bit refreshing.
Beautiful cover, no?

Natasha Poly for Vogue Russia January 2010
When I visited the Vogue Russia office in Moscow a few weeks ago, I asked one of the lovely Voguettes who the lucky girl is for January 2010. They didn’t name names but they told me it’s my FAVOURITE model of all time.
Favourite who? Watch this vid or else you are dead to me.
But of course.
High-voltage dazzling glamouramasuperferosha!
I can’t wait to get my copy in the mail.

Mama Aliona is the coolest!

Vogue Paris Collections Issue 9 – Spring/Summer 2010
The highly-influential French Vogue is renowned for their groundbreaking and superb, high-voltage, totally high fashion covers but this eyesore, my dearest friends, has got to be the WORST Vogue Paris Collections cover I've seen ever. I can't believe Carine signed approval on THIS mess.
THIS is what they released last season.
I don't understand why they can't choose just one, beautiful runway image that defines the show season altogether.
Thoughts?
Or, in the words of Jason Derulo, whatcha say?
In other news, calling all HARDCORE Vogue Paris addicts… if you have a cool $1,050 lying around somewhere, you may want to check THIS out.

Rachel McAdams for Vogue USA January 2010
Remember Regina George from Mean Girls? Well, actress Rachel McAdams (in Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 2010) is on the cover of January 2010 issue of American Vogue.
Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 2010
I remember whining not too long ago how American Vogue usually picks from the same pool of actresses for the covers, namely Nicole, Charlize, Cameron, Sienna, etc. so this cover is quite a bit of a shocker and totally unexpected.
It's a good thing, no?
Anyhoo, I'm particularly curious with two of their cover stories — "Youthquake 2010" and "When Size 4 is Too Big".
I think I'm buying this issue.

Candy Magazine feat. Luke Worrall
Say hello to the coolest fashion magazine celebrating crossdressing and trannyismisms! Some of the world’s best took part in this amazing magazine: photos by Bruce Weber, Tim Walker and Terry Richardson, editorials styled by my man Kim Jones and the cool Robbie Spencer. Male model Luke Worrall is on the cover of the Fall/Winter 2009-2010 issue.
Check out this video. I see a hot boy in Rodarte. Even Cole Mohr is there!
I think it’s great that we have magazines like this, considering we live in androgynous and gender ambigous times…
AMAZING, NO?
I want Candy….

Cate Blanchett for US Vogue December 2009 Cover
Aussie actress and Vogue favourite Cate Blanchett, in a gold Donna Karan resort dress, is on the December 2009 cover of American Vogue.
I don't know what it is and I'm having trouble pinpointing it now but I feel like I've seen this cover — or look/concept – somewhere before. It's sooo familiar!
Thoughts on the cover?

Natalie Portman for V Magazine 62
Photographed by Mario Testino. Flawless!!!!!!!!! I've said it many times in the past that I'm not really a big fan of celebrity covers especially when they're all "glammed" up. That whole Hollywood glam glam glam look is soo tired but no other magazine in America, IMO at least, do celebrity covers best other than V Magazine (ok, maybe W or Star haha). Anyhoo… it's refreshing to see someone like Natalie, who has that all-American sweetheart image, be 'edgy'.But then again, didn't she shaved her head once?
Beautiful, beautiful cover. BTW I like her nose…
How does Natalie Portman make you feel?

Anja Rubik for Vogue Germany September 2009
How funny. I was just admiring this Gucci video the other day…
lo and behold the smart folks over at German Vogue dropped the A-bomb on me for their September issue: MISS ANJA RUBIK!
How stunning is she? I *love* Anja. I’ve seen many, many photos and videos of her over the years and that woman is nothing but a thoroughbred. She’s been on the game for quite some time now and she’s piling up them ad campaigns and covers like no other.
Danke schön Vogue Deutsch for the lovely cover!

Commons&Sense and Commons&Sense Man Spring/Summer 2009
Remember what I told the folks over at Dolce & Gabbana/Swide when they interviewed me last week how fashion magazines are the new coffee table books? Well, a huge “care package” arrived on my desk yesterday and Kaoru Sasaki, the lovely and generous Editor-in-Chief of Commons&Sense and Commons&Sense Man Japan (who I met during my trip to Tokyo), sent me the Spring/Summer 2009 issues of his magazines.
Terry Richardson and Barack Obama is on the cover of Commons&Sense Man. Click click click for a quick preview!
