I was a few minutes early at my Louis Vuitton appearance so instead of waiting with the throngs of Japanese shoppers, fan girls and the Fashion’s Night Out mob, the kind folks at Louis Vuitton brought me to the seventh floor of their Omotesando flagship, also known as the Espace Louis Vuitton. What a great, calming oasis to take a break from the camera-wielding public for a short period of time. The current exhibition, Geometry of Light, features American artist Alyson Shotz.
Oh, let me say their water bar is absolutely divine! Ginger-infused water tastes sooo good!

The moment arrived at the Louis Vuitton store in Omotesando earlier this afternoon.
Belated happy birthday Mama Wintour! It was so lovely seeing you again.
A sneak preview of tomorrow’s outfit, among many others. Can’t decide what to wear…

I thought I’d share photos of the bags from this morning’s spring/summer 2012 Louis Vuitton show. I love the exotic leather pieces — chic to the extreme!

I recently attended Louis Vuitton’s “Art of Fashion” exhibit opening here in Milan.
Marc’s long-time friend, the Fashion Editor/Stylist Katie Grand, curated the exhibit. She gathered thirty unique looks showcasing Marc’s history with the brand. Highlights include collaborations with Stephen Sprouse, Takashi Murakami and Philip Treacy.

This, my friends, is an example of a perfect Vogue cover.
Katie Fogarty, in Louis Vuitton, is on the cover of Vogue Australia’s September 2011 issue.
I also think it’s Vogue Australia’s best cover in the history of their existence.
Well done, Vogue Australia, well done.
The New York gaysian mafia are in full force! Following the footsteps of Alexander Wang and Jason Wu (who recently relaunched his website), the handsome Thakoon Panichgul just opened his new online store! I love Thakoon’s Masai plaid jacket for women.
But then again, I am also in love with this Masai-inspired look from my beloved Kim Jones’ first Louis Vuitton menswear collection. I need this HEAD TO TOE. PERIOD. FULL STOP.
What’s a gurl/boy/shim gotta do? I’ve said it before and I’ll say it once again… menswear these days is so much fun!!!
Back in April this year when I visited Paris, Kim Jones quickly gave me a vague preview of his first collection for Louis Vuitton menswear. He also showed me his new office at the Louis Vuitton headquarters. His appointment at Louis Vuitton is well-deserved; he did a sterling job at Dunhill. I wasn’t able to make it to his show a few days ago because I’m currently traveling around India. However, thanks to YouTube, I found the full-length video of his first collection (spring/summer 2012) for Louis Vuitton menswear.
I love all the traveler-inspired looks. With the amount of travel I do, I need a wardrobe upgrade! I’m also obsessed with the blue and red check Damier pattern. I need the scarf, the shirts, the shorts, the cool sandals, the necklaces and the matching belts and backpacks — they’re screaming my name!
Congrats Kim and big hugs from me to you!
I love everything sequined so you can only imagine my delight when I saw these skirts at the fall/winter 2011 Louis Vuitton fashion show. I’m sure it took long to hand-stitch hundreds, if not thousands, of square paillettes in different sizes. I also love the contrast between something so synthetic and man-made and of course, the luxury of the python bag.
