Last night was the opening of Lady Gaga’s Workshop at Barney’s uptown so I thought I’d go cray cray with my outfit. I recycled my printed onesie from Target and blocked it out with this spectacular big, bright, yellow feathered number from Adrienne Landau (available at Shopbop). The result? Madness! My friend Wendy freaked out when she saw me… and so did a lot of people haha! I mean really, it’s fair to say that 98% of the people in New York City wears black especially in these cold winter months. But sorry buddy, alas, I’m not one of those people. Oh oh oh, I hope Lady Gaga doesn’t mind that I used her precious little monsters as a backdrop for blog photos. I love them! Hah! ;-)

The CFDA awarded Lady Gaga the “Fashion Icon” award on Monday. Here’s her acceptance speech. Her quip about her text message exchange with Anna Wintour was hysterical.
You have to watch this intimate interview that was aired on MTV a few days featuring Lady Gaga. Between you and me, her music and her outlandish spectacle of outfits and crazy sets are almost secondary on what I like about her. I love what she represents, I love what she stands for, I love her message, I love her vision. No other artist pushed the envelope like Gaga in recent years. She’s the best.

I'm not surprised there's an opportunistic person out there in the UK capitalizing on Lady Gaga's fame by selling these Lady Gaga "I'm A Free Bitch, Baby" t-shirts for around US$19 each. They come in different colours: red and white, purple, black and neon green, black and gold, black and silver. It also comes in a tank top, too.

I’ve been very wary of Lady Gaga these days because I feel like the fame is finally getting to her head and her ego is getting bigger and bigger but oh my god, have you seen her new ‘Paparazzi’ music video? It was just released last night in the US. She redeemed herself and she’s back in my books. AMAZING!!!
OK fine. The soft core porn at the start of the video is totally unnecessary and yes, Swedish boys will totally break your heart but the fashion, oh my god the fashion! How many designer creations can you spot on the vid? I see that she wore the same print as Inna Pilipenko at Jeremy Scott Fall/Winter 2009.
