Rumi and I spent the afternoon roaming around Melrose and La Cienega. Went to the Book Marc store to buy Carine Roitfeld’s book, Irreverent, dropped by Theory to pick up this cool chevron sweater I saw in New York earlier this week. Also bumped into my friend Ceci who works for Max Azria. My Saturday afternoon couldn’t be more complete.

Kenzo had a sample sale in Paris last week and I got quite a number of amazing things. This floral canvas bucket bag is very very cute. I love the jolt of colorful flowers against the hard, gladiatoresque leather details.

This is quite funny. At the Damir Doma menswear show in Paris, me and my buddy Isaac of Isaaclikes.com had a laugh because someone stole my seat. It was this really, really tall ogre. I pointed to Isaac how big his feet were. When the guy wasn’t looking, I asked Isaac to take a stolen snapshot of my sample-sized (that’s model size 40/41 women’s to you so if you have ferocious shoes, send them my way kthxbye) feet beside his supersized bonanza special.
Fast forward a month and a half later, I received an email earlier today from a reader in Switzerland. His name is Adrien.

You know how the old saying goes… early to bed early to rise! I slept very early last night (10:30pm!!) and woke up today at 7AM. Kenzo celebrates 40 years this year and I'm very determined to go to their show later.
I'm thinking of having breakfast at Cafe de Flore (since I'm staying at St. Germain des Pres afterall) before heading out to the show venue. Good idea?
