I’m so glad we didn’t have a purchase limit at the Versace x H&M launch two nights ago. I bought so many things from the collection and I’m happy! I remember we were only allowed to buy six items from the Lanvin x H&M launch.

Some of the things I picked up from the pop-up store were: two short-sleeve men’s t-shirts, a long-sleeve men’s tropical print roundneck top, tropical print button-down shirt, women’s cropped bomber jacket, men’s varsity jacket, men’s studded shorts, women’s printed pant, men’s alligator printed pant, men’s black and white optical print pant, men’s optical print shirt, men’s pink shirt, men’s pink trouser, belt, a pair of men’s shoes and two necklaces.

I’m gonna try to wear them as much as I can before they hit the stores in a week’s time. I like the idea of wearing things not worn by everyone else. Once they hit the shelves, mama mia, it’s time for me to move on.

Viva Versace!

Last night’s Versace for H&M collaboration launch turned out to be a five-hour extravaganza. I can’t remember having so much fun in New York in recent memory. After the fashion show, Donatella and the H&M gang spoiled us with endless drinks and performances by Nicki Minaj and Prince — before allowing us to shop the collection.

Oh dear oh dear oh dear.

I think I bought too many pieces from the Versace x H&M collaboration launch last night. Yikes!

Are you ready for the Versace x H&M Collaboration? I am. The collection is going to be released on November 17 in various markets around the world. If you live in the USA or Canada, it’s going to be available on November 19.

For two days, starting today October 25, the iconic Donatella Versace will answer select questions submitted through Twitter from fans. Ask Donatella anything about the upcoming collaboration with H&M with the hashtag #askdonatella.

I can’t believe I’m saying this but I can’t wait for warmer temperatures. I’m tired of having dry hands, dry feet, dry lips, everything. It’s supposed to be spring but it snowed again last night!

I found this super bright yellow cardigan at H&M the other day and I thought it would be nice to wear it with my red Rag & Bone jeans that I got from Barney’s last month. Pair it off with the Tod’s shoes and my green vintage hat voila, you’ve got a colour blocking story right there.

Remember the crazy shoes I wore last season? I’m taking a break from them all. Last season was all about elevating my height. This season is all about being flat and petite. In other words, natural, as they say. My gurls are deeply bothered with my newfound obsession with men’s shoes because they all tower over me in their skyscrapers. Maybe they should ask the handsome Thakoon Panichgul how he feels…

Anyhoo. I bought a pair of blue suede Gommini loafers from Tod’s during Milan fashion week. Yay for press discount. Yay for VAT-back! In any case, they’re the most comfortable shoes I’ve owned in my entire life. I tried to tie the knot on my right shoe the other day and guess what? I failed!! Quite challenging to do it in -3 degree celsius weather…

Have you seen these men’s socks at H&M? I’ve been buying them wherever there’s an H&M store for weeks now. It’s cheaper to buy new socks and underwear than send them to the cleaners. Stripes aside, doesn’t the colour scheme remind you of Miuccia Prada’s blockbuster spring/summer 2011 collection?
