2008 Aries Horoscope and Monthly/Yearly Astrology Forecasts
Between you and me, I’m not really a big astrology fan. Remember the days of Miss Cleo? Like her hired phone “psychics”, I have a feeling some of these “astrologers” are nothing but excellent wordsmiths. Sure they have a way with words but how accurate are their predictions? I know horoscopes are for entertainment purposes only…
Well, thanks to Astrologyzone, it was only until last year that I got into the whole horoscope and astrology hoo-ha. Susan Miller’s forecasts are quite spot-on. I kid you not. Some are dead accurate, a few are near-misses but still. I also LOVE that super cool celebrity astrology site, AstroCrack.
So what’s in store for Aries in 2009? I browsed a few astrology sites and took some of the interesting bits and pieces. Click click click!
23 minutes to go. Thought I'd bid adieu to 2009 with some mancandy, courtesy of polaroid king, the amazing Mr. Jeremy Kost. I love Jeremy. He's the one who took those ferosha videos for New York magazine. Think Coco Rocha. Let me present you our New Year's treat — his name is Ellis McCreadie and he's with Major.
I apologize for the delay in announcing the winner of my dream destination contest — proof that I'm really the world's worst procrastinator. A big congrats to Jonathan B. who lives in Narrangansett, Rhode Island USA. He was the first person who was able to guess my dream destination right. He emailed his answer within minutes of me posting my entry. Except for the very few who got it wrong (wtf Copenhagen? wtf South Korea? better luck next time…), I suppose most of my readers are smarter than what I thought. Hah!
Jonathan sent a funny photo of him in Taipei when I asked for his mailing address.
I don't know whether you've noticed the changes or not but my blog provider, Typepad, recently upgraded the comments section on their sites. This should come in handy to a few of my regular commenters — you no longer have to enter your information every time you comment on all Typepad-hosted blogs. All you need to do is register for a Typekey account. It's easy and it's free. Don't forget to upload your photo or an icon of your choice.
I love stylists. I really do. They always have the coolest shit you won't find elsewhere like this Dolce & Gabbana rosary, a real one, owned by a stylist I met in Kuala Lumpur named Daniel Henry. I thought this was the most hilarious thing I've ever seen in the longest time. Talk about bizarro to the max.
September 2008 Marie Claire Photoshop Extravaganza
OH NO THEY DIDN’T! Ladies, this photo is quite possibly the most hysterical photo chopped image I have ever seen in the longest time! US Marie Claire’s top staff posed for a group shot for their September 2008 issue. However, one of the staff members forgot to photoshop their reflections on the glass table. Check this out.
