I love a good Christopher Kane print. Especially when it features scary creatures inspired by old horror films. It’s not every day that I wear fleece sweatshirts and sweat pants but this graphic, head-to-ankle look from Christopher Kane is asking for it. Perfect for mincing around the airport or hustling the city streets.

Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of attending Eva Cavalli’s party for Cash & Rocket, a tour organized by women raising funds for charity.

Roberto’s son Rob invited a few of us back to their Villa the day after for an impromptu lunch and pool party — a great way to beat the Italian heat. The Cavallis are such gracious hosts. Their home up the Florentine hills is nothing but magnificent and inspiring — think mink carpets, sable fur throws and unicorn sculptures. It was certainly a far cry from how I grew up as a child. It was magical!

Meanwhile, I had to make a new friend out of the leopard-print rabbit fut teddy bear in one of the salons.

It’s only January but I’m so thrilled to get my hands on the new Spring 2013 merchandise that’s slowly trickling in at my favourite shops. This metallic Burberry Prorsum coat is pretty major. I’m not afraid of anything that shines!

My favourite online superstore Luisa Via Roma hosted a lovely dinner last night at Palazzo Capponi. As y’all know (from instagram, from twitter), I’m back in Florence once again for the bi-annual Luisa Via Roma Firenze4Ever event. I LOVE visiting Florence. It’s my favourite Italian city and oh so inspiring! Also happy to reunite with my real-life friends. Fun times all around!

It’s all good when you have an amazing balcony overlooking the gorgeous Piazza della Repubblica in Florence. Excuse my messy hotel room… this is what happens when you live out of a suitcase… or four!!!
