Watch the full-length video of the fall/winter 2012 Louis Vuitton womenswear fashion show that took place earlier this morning. All aboard the Louis Vuitton Express!

It’s all about shine and everything sparkly at Chanel fall/winter 2012 so naturally, this season’s set was based on crystals.

Allow me to share some images I took at the fall/winter 2012 Jean Paul Gaultier fashion show. I loved many of the outerwear, especially the tough, badass jackets, and of course, the multi-coloured furs. I thought the skirt made out of several leather jackets as worn by Kate Kondas when she closed the show was also interesting. Ditto with the painted python pieces.

Here’s the full-length video of the Lanvin fall/winter 2012 fashion show. It’s Alber’s 10th anniversary in the house. He also performed to express his love and gratitude to his supporters.

Nicola Formichetti gave me a personal preview of the fall/winter 2012 Mugler collection yesterday afternoon. They’re inspired by insects, geishas and ninjas this season. Mugler also collaborated with Christian Louboutin for the shoes. Bag fanatics take note — he’s thinking of introducing bags and small leather goods next year. I can’t wait to see watch the Mugler fashion show tonight!

Immediately after the Moschino fashion show, I visited the fall/winter 2012 Furla presentation. They’ve collaborated with performance artist Sissi to launch their new collection of very spacious and reversible tote bags dubbed “Furla and I”. A mini stage was installed in the venue where models, in white leggings, rotated, holding the new bags. They also presented several new additions to the Furla Canda collection — I like the white Furla Candy bag with the dalmatian print on ponyskin.

I have to be honest — I could count, with three fingers, the reasons why I would attend a 9AM show: it has to be a brand or designer that I personally love, to show my support to an advertiser, and lastly, a friend is designing/styling the show. It could also be a combination of both or all of the above. In any case, I had fun at the Moschino show a couple of days ago. I’m obsessed with backpacks as of late and these gold-chained knapsacks from their fall/winter 2012 collection are soo cute. They remind me of backpacks Chanel did back in the dark ages but the handle made them — multifunctional in the sense that you can also carry them as a handbag. Love it!

Anna dello Russo, who styled the collection, wore the backpack after the show.
