Dance like the rent is due tomorrow ladies! How spectacular is the fall/winter 2011 Lanvin ad campaign video? Raquel Zimmermann and Karen Elson looks soo chic and badass! I also love Alber’s cameo towards the end. A number of fall ad campaign videos are being released lately but the Lanvin one is the best. I love the element of dance, fun and goofiness and cheekiness while the girls (and guys) look incredibly flawless.
The first thing that came to mind when I saw that video was the word ‘parody’. Look at what I found on YouTube.
The campaign is desperately begging to be parodied. Go on… go grab your best friend, put your best Lanvin on and dance away. I’m gonna try to do this soon. Mark my words.

Summer is almost over. Are you ready for the new season? Behold the Alexander Wang glitter trousers from his fall/winter 2011 show.

Fall in line ladies, fall in line.
Now if you excuse me, I’m gonna go get my hip and butt liposuction now…
DYING. MUST-HAVE. #JUSTSAYING.

Have you seen Prada’s fall/winter 2011 ad campaign video? The colors and textures are stunning, especially those massive sequined pieces. Remind me to pick up one of those hats the next time I go to the store. I went to the flagship in via Montenapoleone back in June but sadly, they don’t have the larger sizes yet. I’m excited for autumn to arrive!

Isabeli Fontana is the star of Donna Karan’s latest (fall winter 2011) ad campaign.
Two words: incredibly chic.

The folks over at 3.1 Phillip Lim just released their latest video, “Girls on Bikes”, featuring Phillip’s fall/winter 2011 womenswear collection.

I love complicated footwear. I really do. Over the years you’ve seen me wear some of the craziest shoes around. After my skyscraper Elliott Ward-Fear platforms, there’s nowhere else to go… and we all know what goes up must come down to lower ground, which is why I’ve worn nothing but flats this year. Going from one extreme to another. That’s what it’s all about.
I know I’m treading dangerous waters here because I’m officially approaching sneaker territory but I love Bernard Willhelm’s collaboration with Camper. Check out his latest take on the popular Toðer sneaker. I love that winter camouflage action going on. I can see me wear this with a classic gray or navy suit with crop trousers with turn ups. Totally amaze.
Hang on a sec — me in a navy suit? Hold that thought.

Just finished watching the fall/winter 2011 Chanel haute couture fashion show video. How Karl was able to replicate Place Vendome inside the Grand Palais is beyond!!!

Have you seen this badass fall/winter 2011 Joseph Altuzarra parka? I love how the quilted lining pops out with that striking shade of orange and the fox fur hoo? Awesomeness. This parka is gonna be an awesome winter piece, perfect for every day use. You can dress it up, dress it down, even wear it belted on its own with nothing but a pair of heels and a smile if you dare.
Sunglasses from Miu Miu, parka from Joseph Altuzarra (available at Luisa Via Roma), sweater and shoes from Salvatore Ferragamo, trousers from Dries Van Noten.
