Razzle dazzle! As I always say my dearest readers… when was the last time you did something for the first time?
Yesterday night was the annual Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Benefit. This year’s exhibition celebrates the legacy and the astonishing work of the late, great Alexander McQueen. It’s my first time to attend such event.
Hat, overcoat, vest, trousers, shoes, bowtie from Dolce & Gabbana
Thank you so much Ms. Wintour for personally giving me the privilege of witnessing such a magical, star-studded evening. I wouldn’t be there without your help.
I took around 2,000 photos last night. I’ll edit and post them as soon as I can.
I recently visited Harvard University for their annual Identities fashion show. Here’s the final walkthrough of the show. Quite charming to see students of one of the world’s most prestigious academic institutions put on an entertaining show. What a delight!

Yesterday evening, my friends from Elle Magazine invited me to join their table at the AAFA (American Apparel and Footwear Association) American Image Awards. I’m usually intimidated by black tie events simply because I don’t know what to wear but my beloved Dolce & Gabbana came to my rescue and I wore this AMAZING sparkly outfit from their fall/winter 2011 collection.
My friends over at Boston’s iconic Louis store are inviting bloggers for an event next week If you happen to be in (or visiting) the area next week, be sure to pop by Louis on March 24 from 5 to 7PM. Don’t forget to RSVP by emailing email@example.com.
The incredibly chic and gracious Prada Ambassadress Shala Monroque (who I first met at the Miu Miu show in Paris a few months back) hosted an intimate soiree for the very smart folks over at Industrie Magazine at her apartment in New York last week.
Last night, the lovely folks at Roberto Cavalli invited me to their star-studded 40th Anniversary celeberations here in Paris. I don’t even know where to begin but let’s just say I had lots of memorable moments.
This is hysterical…
The place was packed with people. It’s a good thing I saw Anna Dello Russo before she left the event.
Robyn (Dancing On My Own) at Style.com's 10th Anniversary
This has got to be my favourite non-fashion moment this season. Yes kiddies, it's Robyn singing in front of me. Not more than a meter between us in fact.
Watch this vid. Emotional eh?
Some of you may remember how I met her in Stockholm last month at the Cheap Monday show.
When I heard the news how Robyn's gonna be at the Style.com party here in NYC, I went straight to the front. I love Robyn and her songs and I've always wanted to see how she performs live. She didn't disappoint. I still want to see her in concert.
I couldn't control myself I ended up singing with stylist Sam Spector, designer Prabal Gurung and models Siri Tollerod and Alana Zimmer and everyone else in the audience.
