When was the last time you did something for the first time? My quick weekend jaunt to the Bahamas, courtesy of The Cove Atlantis, enabled me to do things I’ve never done before, such as kissing dolphins and petting sea lions. I’m surprised the Bahamas is a mere two and a half hour flight from New York City and The Cove Atlantis made the perfect backdrop of that much-needed escape. I’ve been traveling a lot for quite some time now and all I needed to recharge my mind is a quick trip to the beach!

This, my friends, is prima-facie evidence of my obsessive/addictive personality. I really should be ashamed, no? Christopher Kane is Mr. Prints Charming alright. I somehow amassed a small coterie of this season’s paint brush stroke-printed tops. I like to dress them down with a pair of black shorts (preferably leather) or dress them up with a slick blazer and black trousers. He also did a few ultra cool printed shorts. However, with any addiction or vice, there’s always that fine line that you simply do not cross or else there’s no turning back! Remember kids, clothes are better than crack…
On my latest excursion to Orange County, I wandered around the streets of Corona Del Mar, a quiet beachside neighborhood far removed from the traffic of Pacific Coast Highway. The streets were lined with expensive houses with immaculately manicured lawns, each looking like they belonged in some house and garden magazine.
While Los Angeles is a major city, the surrounding suburbs have really given me the opportunity to slow down a just little bit (especially after moving to New York City from the Philippines) and reconnect with my suburban roots.
