This just in — actress Brittany Murphy passed away yesterday morning (Sunday).
Brittany Murphy and husband Simon Monjack
From TMZ:
Brittany Murphy died early this morning after she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived, multiple sources tell TMZ.
She was 32.
A 911 call was made at 8:00 AM from a home in Los Angeles that is listed as belonging to her husband, Simon Monjack, the Los Angeles City Fire Department tells TMZ.
We're told Murphy was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
32 years old? Cardiac arrest? My god, she was so young.
Remember Regina George from Mean Girls? Well, actress Rachel McAdams (in Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 2010) is on the cover of January 2010 issue of American Vogue.
Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer 2010
I remember whining not too long ago how American Vogue usually picks from the same pool of actresses for the covers, namely Nicole, Charlize, Cameron, Sienna, etc. so this cover is quite a bit of a shocker and totally unexpected.
It's a good thing, no?
Anyhoo, I'm particularly curious with two of their cover stories — "Youthquake 2010" and "When Size 4 is Too Big".
I think I'm buying this issue.

Well, it was bound to happen. Marc Jacobs acolyte and ad campaign star Victoria Beckham landed at Heathrow with a Louis Vuitton messenger bag from the spring/summer 2010 collection. I WANT!!!!
OH MY FUCKING GOD!!!! I’M DYING… DYING… DYING IN MY OWN CESSPOOL OF JEALOUSY.
Lady Gaga WERQED the hell out of Alexander McQueen! Totes Amaze. TOTES AMAZE! Watch and werq.
EXCUSE ME WHILE I POISON MYSELF…
LUCKYYYY SHE GOT TO WEAR IT!!!
You know what… I need an intervention from this Lady Gaga insanity. Does anyone have Oprah on speed dial? Someone call her and pass the phone to me please.
Aussie actress and Vogue favourite Cate Blanchett, in a gold Donna Karan resort dress, is on the December 2009 cover of American Vogue.
I don't know what it is and I'm having trouble pinpointing it now but I feel like I've seen this cover — or look/concept – somewhere before. It's sooo familiar!
Photographed by Mario Testino. Flawless!!!!!!!!! I've said it many times in the past that I'm not really a big fan of celebrity covers especially when they're all "glammed" up. That whole Hollywood glam glam glam look is soo tired but no other magazine in America, IMO at least, do celebrity covers best other than V Magazine (ok, maybe W or Star haha). Anyhoo… it's refreshing to see someone like Natalie, who has that all-American sweetheart image, be 'edgy'.But then again, didn't she shaved her head once?
It’s no secret that I’m not too keen on celebs which is why I’ve never heard of Camilla Belle before. I mean, I posted a tweet about it just a few seconds ago and people instantly replied that she’s a Jonas brother ex. Whatevs. Oh my nerves HOT FEROCIOUS MAMA… she looks stunning in Alexander McQueen, no? Wow. Just wow.
And this is why luxury fashion houses should NEVAH hire a celebrity to star an ad campaign. I can’t even imagine how many millions of dollars James Franco got paid for his Gucci ad campaign (stolen from a model, as always) but watch this video. He’s off the rails, I’m telling you.
He can’t even pronounce Gucci correctly. Speechless. Please tell me this video is a spoof. Or some ‘twisted’ viral marketing thing to promote the fragrance. Please.
