It’s only January but I’m so thrilled to get my hands on the new Spring 2013 merchandise that’s slowly trickling in at my favourite shops. This metallic Burberry Prorsum coat is pretty major. I’m not afraid of anything that shines!

After a week’s worth of desert, drought and desolate sceneries, we drove from Reno, Nevada to oh-so-gorgeous Lake Tahoe. It’s refreshing to see traces of greenery and civilization once again. Lake Tahoe is so beautiful.

How gorgeous was Christopher Bailey’s fall/winter 2012 collection for Burberry Prorsum menswear? I’m dying over the sharp suiting (!!!!!!), the accessories and some of the coats; love the khaki trench with the stripe details at the bottom, ditto with the knitwear.
Remember the dramatic fall/winter 2011 finale of the Burberry Prorsum menswear fashion show? Here’s the video I took back in January.
Those transparent Burberry Prorsum rain coats are now available at Luisa Via Roma. At approximately US$1,500 a pop, the price tag is not for the faint of heart.
From Rio de Janeiro, I'm now in Milan! Due to my late arrival, I was still at Malpensa by the time Dolce & Gabbana started hence I was unable to attend the show. I was also late at Jil Sander who gave me a front row seat. The show already kicked off by the time my cab arrived to the venue. I wanted to cry when I heard the music thumping as I sprinted up the stairs. More on that later. It is what it is.
I thoroughly enjoyed the new fall/winter Burberry Prorsum show. I love the solid-coloured coats at the beginning, soft cashmere sweaters interwoven with fur, perhaps sheared rabbit or sheared mink and of course, many of the fur-trimed coats including the black-and-white mink extravaganza which I'll show you later. For now, let me show you this quick video I made of the spectacular finale in which he sent his models in plastic raincoats to protect them from getting wet. And the faux rain set up on the runway? Dramatic.
