Last Friday, I met up with some of the girls behind Spring, a new revolutionary mobile app that will change the way we shop designer goods. Spring will launch on August 14. For more information, visit Shopspring.com.

I’m thrilled to be back in Morocco once again — it’s my third time around. This country has a very special place in my heart. I’m currently here, very high up in the northern Moroccan (Rif) mountains, visiting this gorgeous town called Chefchaouen. If you ask me to name some of the most beautiful places I’ve been to, I would definitely include Chefchaouen on my list. It’s a quaint little town where the buildings, streets, alleyways, walls and doors are in different shades of blue. Visiting the Medina is a must. It was rather humbling walking around — you feel like you’re in some sort of time warp. I haven’t felt “detached” from the world in such a long time and believe me, it’s a precious, magnificent feeling.

Y’all know me and my taste — I usually love anything AND everything colourful and embellished but lately, I’ve been toning it down big time. I’ve been stockpiling a rather disturbing amount of white items in my closet over the past few months. My obsession started last year but now it’s gone full force. It’s mildly disturbing actually. Whenever I go to stores, I usually make a beeline to the white section if they have it. Before leaving for Dubai, I bought this nifty “X” Alexander Wang sweater. I feel like there’s something chic about white clothes. It makes you look clean, pristine and of course, effortless. Yes, I know the white memo arrived late in my inbox, in any case, I’m loving this ‘new’ look on me.

Välkommen till Stockholm! Words cannot express how nice it is to be back in Stockholm aka Stockhome. I used to go to Stockholm at least four times a year MINIMUM but my schedule this year stopped me from coming back sooner. This trip, thanks to Fashion Networks Europe, feels like a homecoming to me, not to mention a celebration of different milestones. Rumi and I first bonded and sealed our friendship in Stockholm (during fashion week) a few years ago so to be back at the same exact place is special. It’s also amazing to see some of my closest and dearest people in my life in the same city. Y’all know who you guys are. Talk about a reunion of all sorts.

Bravo, Alexander Wang, for capitalizing on people’s desperation.
An afternoon trip to Barney’s in San Francisco resulted in me picking up this cheeky ‘Pervert’ t-shirt by Givenchy. I’m obsessed with it. We’re all perverts to an extent.

It’s been quite some time since I last took these Alexander McQueen visors out for a spin. I’ve had it for a couple of months now. It never fails to draw so much attention — I’ve been stopped many, many times on the street from people asking me whether I could see through them (the answer is yes)! And then of course, talking to my friends always result in major hysterics. “You need to take them off when I’m talking to you. I can’t take you seriously!,” a friend quipped. The visors are obnoxious, yes, but it’s a great conversation piece. I love it.
