Thought I’d update you guys with recent developments on my unisex fur accessories collaboration with Adrienne Landau. I’m happy to report that many of my favourite retailers will carry pieces from my first accessories collection! Starting this fall, major retailers like Bloomingdale’s, Barney’s, Saks Fifth Avenue and Holt Renfrew in Canada will sell my pieces. In NYC, Kirna Zabete, Five Story and V Files will carry my line. Ditto with Colette in Paris. You’ll also see my collection at Luisa Via Roma and my beloved Shopbop! Many other smaller, independent boutiques will sell my goodies. I’ll update with a full list of retailers once it’s finalized. I’m super happy with the result. I can’t wait to work on my next collection!

Some of my fur accessories were featured on today’s issue of Womens Wear Daily alongside Louis Vuitton, Fendi, etc.

Oh Mexico. It’s never too warm to sport a little bit of fur. I must say I can’t live without my lovely purple fur camera strap from my collaboration with Adrienne Landau. This is the the original prototype version in mink fur and we’re producing them in rabbit, raccoon and fox versions.

As you guys already know, I recently collaborated with Adrienne Landau. My unisex collection of colourful fur accessories feature standout items like camera straps, bow ties, hats, scarves and cowls. They are available in different types of fur such as mink, rex rabbit, raccoon and fox. The color palette ranges from deep shades of dewberry purple and shamrock green to sapphire blue, soft lilac, china rose and poppy yellow. I love the idea of using colour and fur as a personal punctuation mark!
I’m thrilled to announce that my pieces are now available for pre-order. Pre-ordering guarantees availability and on-time delivery of merchandise. The first batch of orders will be shipped on July 15, in synch with retailers who will carry my collection. My furs are also gonna be available at select retail outlets worlwide, including Barney’s. I’ll keep you posted once we have the final roster.

I thought it would be refreshing to kick off the New Year by doing something I’ve never done before in the city — going on a lunch cruise around with my bf and a good friend. The two and a half hour boat ride aboard Spirit of New York went around parts of lower Manhattan, Liberty Island and Governor’s Island. Contrary to some of the reviews on Yelp, the food wasn’t that bad at all (I actually liked the chicken and the pork). The buffet was small, yes, and they only offered two items for desert, but it’s ok. The staff were ultra friendly and helpful — they even put on a song and dance number for us! There were some cringe-worthy moments, of course, like when people started to do the ‘Cha Cha Slide’ and of course, the choice of cheeky and camp music, but, in the spirit of the festive season, it was all fun and good. I liked the overall experience and I don’t mind doing it again.

With the exception of Williamsburg, IKEA and Brooklyn Crab in Red Hook, Brooklyn is pretty much uncharted territory for me. I really should explore this part of the city more often, considering some areas of it is just a few stops away on the subway from my place. I went to Brooklyn Heights earlier for lunch. That area is gorgeous! I’ve been told that many people from Manhattan move to Brooklyn Heights to start a family. Dude, where’s my pram? With its brownstones and tree-lined streets, Brooklyn Heights must be very pretty during the summer. I can’t wait to go back again. As long as I don’t see an army of hipsters, I’ll be fine.

Last night was the opening of Lady Gaga’s Workshop at Barney’s uptown so I thought I’d go cray cray with my outfit. I recycled my printed onesie from Target and blocked it out with this spectacular big, bright, yellow feathered number from Adrienne Landau (available at Shopbop). The result? Madness! My friend Wendy freaked out when she saw me… and so did a lot of people haha! I mean really, it’s fair to say that 98% of the people in New York City wears black especially in these cold winter months. But sorry buddy, alas, I’m not one of those people. Oh oh oh, I hope Lady Gaga doesn’t mind that I used her precious little monsters as a backdrop for blog photos. I love them! Hah! ;-)
