I don’t normally consider myself as a clutch person because I like to keep a hand free — free to smoke a cigarette, free to use my gargantuan camera take photos here and there, free to use my phone to text or to read Twitter. However, I’m a getting a bit bored of using bags that hang off the shoulder (or body) so the idea of simplifying and carrying the basics (lighter, gum, small wallet, ciggies and lip gloss) is very appealing. Last week in Paris, the very handsome Gabrielcorto gifted me this cute snakeskin clutch with neon green piping. I love it. It’s the perfect bag to keep the essentials on a relaxed Friday afternoon here in Stockholm.

Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli of Valentino sent me a super chic, studded, white (perfect for summer!) iPad case with my initials in gold. Quite a luxurious touch if you ask me. I love my new iPad case. I guess it’s time for me to get a new iPad then…
Thank you so much for the lovely gesture!

You know you’ve hit the jackpot and have made it in life when everything you own is white. Why? Only someone with unlimited financial resources can manage to not care about keeping their precious blanc things pristine. I’ve fallen in love with the black python Givenchy Antigona bag (it’s numero uno on my wishlist) but the white leather version, below, takes the cake. I’m not really a white bag person. My sweaty, clammy hands and my clumsiness will get this flawless baby extremely dirty in no time.

Here’s a quick look at some of the new fall/winter 2012 bags from the Louis Vuitton show yesterday morning.

Alber Elbaz celebrated his 10th anniversary at Lanvin a couple of days ago (how fast time flies!). My friend German took photos of Anna dello Russo and moi in our veiled headgear. I’m so glad I bought the veiled beanie at Jil Sander. I wanted to buy the white version but it’s going to be a bitch cleaning it because you can’t wash the beanie; I don’t think a dry cleaner would accept it either…

Immediately after the Moschino fashion show, I visited the fall/winter 2012 Furla presentation. They’ve collaborated with performance artist Sissi to launch their new collection of very spacious and reversible tote bags dubbed “Furla and I”. A mini stage was installed in the venue where models, in white leggings, rotated, holding the new bags. They also presented several new additions to the Furla Canda collection — I like the white Furla Candy bag with the dalmatian print on ponyskin.

I have to be honest — I could count, with three fingers, the reasons why I would attend a 9AM show: it has to be a brand or designer that I personally love, to show my support to an advertiser, and lastly, a friend is designing/styling the show. It could also be a combination of both or all of the above. In any case, I had fun at the Moschino show a couple of days ago. I’m obsessed with backpacks as of late and these gold-chained knapsacks from their fall/winter 2012 collection are soo cute. They remind me of backpacks Chanel did back in the dark ages but the handle made them — multifunctional in the sense that you can also carry them as a handbag. Love it!

Anna dello Russo, who styled the collection, wore the backpack after the show.

I love these gorgeous exotic cuff bracelets from Dannijo’s spring/summer 2012 collection. I salivated over the two-tone stingray cuffs (photo below) in terrific colors when I went to their showroom last week. Although we haven’t seen the long, cold bitter days of winter yet, it’s never too early to start shopping for spring!

Behold one of the coolest backpacks I’ve seen in a long time. Can’t take my mind off it. The bag is made out of faux leather but the badass edgy python-scale details make up for it. Love the super friendly price point as well — this backpack has serious ‘everyday bag’ potential.
