The Australian press are having a field day over Gemma Ward and it's unfortunate that I'm taking the heat for it.

If you were to believe what the Sunday Telegraph Australia said today, I (along with other bloggers apparently) "hounded" and "attacked" the beautiful Aussie model and made her quit modeling.

Fitzroy Gardens Melbourne

Bought a bottle of white, some strawberries, nuts and other nibbles at David Jones before heading to Fitzroy Gardens for a little improptu picnic. The weather was so beautiful this afternoon. We also saw a newlywed interracial couple take photos at the gardens, hence my obvious control of laughter. It was cute.

Awww poor Muriel. Now this clip is *so* HYSTERICAL! You guys have absolutely *NO* idea how I sometimes wish I had a real "real" job where I can meet hot guys people every day. A lot of folks think being a full-time blogger is like taking a stroll at the park where everything is piss-easy...

Guten Tag! Wie gehts? I don't know how many of you speak German but have you seen the latest "How to Spend it" magazine supplement by Financial Times Germany? They have an amazing feature on this year's Rosemount Australian Fashion Week and I got a lovely mention there.

From Aussie designers getting more and more global exposure to the land down under being the new model factory (Gemma Ward, Catherine McNeil, Miranda Kerr who I used to like during her Dolly days, Scabby Lee, Alexandra Agoston, Myf and more), it's interesting how Australia is evolving into an international fashyonnn powerhouse right under everyone's noses.

I've never been to Melbourne but it's one city I must visit SOON.

Anyhoo. I don't know about you but I'm against any city that imposes a 2AM curfew (to curb violence) on nightlife venues such as bars, pubs and clubs. 2AM? You have GOT to be kidding me. How barbaric is that? Thank god we have some freedom here in my lovely city in the third world. Hello! A lot of venues here are dead empty before midnight and they don't close until the sun comes up! I can't even remember the number of times over the years that I've stumbled out of the club, foaming in the mouth at 7AM, sunglasses and all.

Thank god I live in a developing nation where most shopping places close at 10PM (including weekends), where restaurant kitchens are still open at 10:30PM (unlike in Sydney) and where clubs don't close until the following morning.

In sexy Sydney, I stayed at the Westin Hotel located at 1 Martin Place, CBD (Central Business District). I love the Westin! My Aussie home doesn't get any more centrally located than this.
