You know how the old Christmas song goes… all I want for Christmas is YOU. For the past two years, I’ve celebrated Christmas day in Stockholm. This year, my beloved bf and I agreed that it’s his turn to come visit me in New York. Afterall, I’ve been living in the city for the almost half a year now and he still hasn’t seen my apartment beyond the realms of Skype. He arrived here yesterday afternoon — and I’m so happy he’s here! My Christmas Eve and Christmas day was amazing in every sense. OK, fine, all we need is a blanket of snow to make it perfect but you know what, nothing in this life is so I’m not gonna complain.

How did you spend your Christmas day? My boo and I hauled our carcasses out of my apartment and strolled around Central Park and around the Upper 70s and Park/Madison. I love this area of New York, so peaceful, quiet and the buildings are beautiful. Maybe this time next year or the year after, I’m gonna move into an apartment with a fireplace. We’ll see.
