It was lovely having lunch with Marie Claire South interns MJ and Busi yesterday afternoon.
Hello my dearest friends! It took me almost two days of traveling but finally at last, I’m currently here in Johannesburg, South Africa. I sincerely apologize for the lack of updates. Will do my best to post more of what I’ve been up to the past few weeks (Copenhagen & Mumbai) when I go back to the hotel later tonight. I’m doing a blogging workshop/meet & greet in an hour so I have to rush.
I’m very excited to see my dearest South African followers. Many of them are coming from different cities far from Johannesburg and I’m thrilled to meet them all! Later in the week I’ll be visiting Cape Town so for those of you guys down south, I can’t wait to meet you guys too!
I’ve always wanted to go to this part of the world. I was joking to the BF when I got here, telling him “I can’t believe I’m in Africa. Morocco doesn’t count. This is like… the last frontier!” Of course, being the smart-ass that he is, he told me that Africa was discovered a long time ago. Whatevs.

Wow Africa! My fiance just got back from Ghana on a work trip, he says the country is beautiful. I’m sure your in for a feast for the eyes there is just so much beauty to be seen!

And to be honest, even Maroccan don’t consider themselves african… Last time I was there, I talked to a Morrocan guys that told me “Ah you are from Ivory Coast, I love Africa! I try to go there every year, last time I was in Africa I went to Ghana, Senegal, ect” I wanted to tell him, “Hum, where do you think you are right now?” But I didn’t hehe.
