Lady Gaga’s 2011 CFDA Acceptance Speech

Written By bryanboy

The CFDA awarded Lady Gaga the “Fashion Icon” award on Monday. Here’s her acceptance speech. Her quip about her text message exchange with Anna Wintour was hysterical.

Gotta love Anna for being a good sport.

  1. To the person above comparing her to Madonna….puh-leeze…she is world’s apart from M. Gaga is a classical pianist, has a rich, full, authentic singing voice (meaning she can actually sing live) and is already a legend after only 2 or so years in the spotlight. Yes, I call her a legend because if she were to die today she would live on in the history books. Poor man’s Madonna? More like the other way around.

  2. I find Gaga’s music very bland and and I’m not a fan of her style. Sad to see the CFDA drinking the kool-aid.
