One of the biggest challenges that I have at the moment is that I’m doing everything myself when it comes to all aspects of my job: day-to-day administration (photos, blog entries, emails, twitter), business negotiations, contracts, meetings, bookings, etc… all of this while hopping from one city (or at times, continents!!!) to the next. It’s not easy to werq and hustle my way like the rent is due tomorrow when half of my time is spent 38,000 feet above ground. As the days go by, I am increasingly finding it difficult to evolve into a bigger, better entity because I am bogged (or should I say backblogged) down by whatever it is on my plate. I could only do as much as I can. Even my personal life is suffering — my contact with my family is limited to the odd, occasional phone call (Osama Bin Laden is dead, says my mum), and of course, I haven’t seen the boyfriend in almost two months. And in the rare occasion I’m physically with either of them, I still work relentlessly. One could only do as much they are capable of, you know?
After being a one-man blogging circus for almost seven years, it’s high time that I change the way I do things. Strengthening my foundation is the first step. To do this, I need to focus on what I love doing and delegate the rest. Unfortunately, delegating is one of my main weaknesses. I’m one of those stubborn people who likes to micro-manage. I’m scared to pass things to other people when I know I could do better. I guess it’s because it’s not easy to find the right people to work with.
Many bloggers are now represented by different agencies — Scott Schuman is managed by Jed Root. Garance is managed by Walter Schupfer Management. Susie Bubble has a literary agent and my gurls Rumi and Julia Frakes are both represented by Next Models. I’ve been approached by several agencies in the past but sometimes, you have to go with who you think is the right fit for you and what you want to do in the future.
I’ve signed a contract last week with one of the world’s high-profile agencies, CAA. They represent major people like Oprah, Julia Roberts, Steven Spielberg, Tom Cruise, Zac Efron, Blake Lively. They also represent music stars like Christina Aguilera, Mariah, Justin Timberlake, Usher, among many, many, many others.
I’m very excited with this new chapter in my life. I’m in this for the long haul. It’s been a pleasure of mine to share my dreams with you over the years through my blog. Now that I have a powerful machine working with me and protecting my interests, perhaps in the future, I’ll get to share even bigger, brighter dreams. You never know. ;-)

I’m so relieved it’s not the agency we talked about at Alberta Ferretti…Congrats. I will look forward to seeing you in your own sitcom, reality TV show, or a bit part in a movie.
Love ya xxx

I’m very happy for you now that you are living your dreams. I first started reading your blog years ago. (I loved all your photos taken by your trusty maid!) Look at you now….hobnobbing with the fashion elites!
And you need to look after your health. I’m sure there’s a lot of stress — wishing you all the best and a hug. Simon

Congratulations, BryanBoy! I’m very happy for you. Been reading your blog for some time and my…how far have you become. I “knew” you when you were single and still catwalking in the slums of Manila. Look how far (literally!) you have come! Congrats! – Mona, Singapore.
Hi Bryanboy! I kindda like your ‘personal touch’ in your blog.. I wish I could keep this personal feeling even after you’ve handed over your blog to some professional agencies.. I am also a follower of one Jed Root’s blog, it looks very professional and well managed, but I like yours better! Coz it feels like we’re close even if we don’t know each other at all :D
However, I wish you all the very best! and congratulations!
