This velvet tuxedo, a runway look from Dolce & Gabbana’s fall/winter 2011 collection, was my first option. It’s soo beautiful! It looks great, yes, however, I thought it was a little too warm here in New York to be wearing a velvet tuxedo. Also, the jacket was a wee bit on a small side — I’m wearing a runway sample. It’s sad that I could no longer fit most sample sizes because of my recent weight gain. I need to start eating healthily (in smaller servings and of course, in moderation) and get on with a new exercise program.

I hope someday I’ll have a closet filled with tuxedos and blazers and jackets! It’s never too late to start collecting them.

Is that a LIDL BAG I see on the floor in the second pic???

Perfect, love the cut!
You look so stylish when you were your androgynous or preppy styles, bright colors etc. but unfortunately when men wear tuxedos-going traditional usually looks better because mostly entertainers wear weird color tuxes with sequins etc.
btw-I love the yellow pants in the below post. I think the next black tie event you go to you might consider wearing a bright scarf or a cool accessory with the black tux. Who knows……
