Ah! but you should have tried their “high tea” – it is rather nice (they put all sorts of drinks in coconuts & have great cakes) and you can have it outside.

hey, bryanboy…if youre still in singapore, do try checking out the small shops along haji lane, there is this shop full og indie brands on the second level of mandarin gallery (right next to ashley isham’s shop, which you may want to check out as well), for food try checking out dempsey road (jim thompson, white rabbit, house/barracks, ps cafe), mandarin gallery (wild honey and arteastiq). lots of interesting shops inside the mandarin gallery..:)
