Christian Dior Spring Summer 2010 Haute Couture – FIRST LOOKS

With the lovely Tavi (sporting a pink Stephen Jones bow hat) sitting front-row, the editors over at British Grazia are not happy with their view at the Christian Dior haute couture show in Paris that's going on right this second.

  1. It is getting ridiculous when Tavi’s headgear is obscuring the view of bona fide editors from a big magazine who have worked really hard to get to where they are. In Tavi-speak: sadface.

  2. Can you imagine? To be an actual editor who has paid her dues to be there. Only to have your view obstructed by a 13-year old blogger. I would have been pissed.

  3. LOL I’m glad she’s in the front row but she needs to reconsider her head adornment, I would have been pissed too

Calm down people, it’s not that they’re mad, they’re just not happy haha. i would have probably touched her hat

For being young, smart (provided that she DOES NOT have a Tavi Team), and sitting on all covetable front rows, I am so envious of Tavi already. And if I were sitting there on that poor Grazia editor’s seat, I would become more envious and eventually hate Tavi. But all my envies aside, it was objectively inconsiderate of Tavi to wear that big bow, just to unintentionally block the view from people sitting behind her.

Sure, it couldn’t have been really bad, but it was still something to be pissed about. Especially when we remember that even accomplished eccentric editors such as Anna Piaggi and the late Isabela Blow haven’t done anything this thoughtless at fashion shows.

Tavi, I support you to keep going and leave all cynics behind, but, girl, you gotta mind your surrounding.

  6. Yeah, really, the head of that girl near Tavi is view-obstructing…
Hell, Tavi just reach adult-height with that bow!

  7. Hollywould

    Love that picture.
Chalk Tavi’s misstep up to inexperience.
Once is a mistake. If she does it at future shows, it’ll get old pretty fast and she may not get front row again.

I’m not hating; good on her for getting there, but she needs to tread carefully. Those that build her up can just as easily tear her down, if she’s not careful or respectful.

  8. Grazia people is just jealous. She actually had better view with the SHORT tavi sitting there with a SEE THROUGH HAT. What if it was Andre Leon Talley!
    Bitterness is not pwetty!

  9. LMAO. a bit of jealousy for not being first row? okay maybe she should have taken the hat off but it’s not that bad.

  10. Tavi's mom

well, Tavi is 13 years old little girl.
she is reading this blog i guess, you guys shouldn’t be so mean to her!
