Michelle Obama's Vogue Cover

Behold American First Lady Michelle Obama's American Vogue cover.

  1. yes she’s pretty..but i dunno abt the facial expression..they could have used a better shot of her…

  2. her left arm looks small and thinner for some reason. and her face is so grey and unfocused. but shes BEAUTIFUL!

  3. Michelle Obama is so freaking amazing! She has a really nice sense of style, she’s super intelligent and successful, and she’s really classy. I think that they could have used a better shot, but I’m glad they put her on the cover.

  4. Obamasucks

    She looked awful with that green dress and more awful now playing the fashion model… she’ll give many headaches to her husband

  5. mklocinski

    Its so bland. She has so much fire in her, but its so bland.
    I…don’t know that I want a Vogue dedicated to her. Vanity Fair I would understand. But (at least US) Vogue is terrible at celebrity pieces, leaving so much to be desired because they have nothing to do but gush over whomsoever they’re interviewing. I like Mrs. Obama, but learned nothing of substance about her. Additionally, its not like she’s Jackie O- she dresses well, but its not visionary or something you wouldn’t see on every other socialite in Manhattan. As a result the fashion aspect of the article is weak, and only reinforces the magazine’s lack of originality.
    Sigh. I’m disappointed, and didn’t want to be.

  6. There she weaves by night and day
    A magic web with colours gay.
    And moving through a mirror clear
    That hangs before her all the year,
    Sometimes a troop of damsels glad,
    An abbot on an ambling pad,
    The gemmy bridle glitter’d free,
    Like to some branch of stars we see
    Who is this? And what is here?
    And in the lighted palace near
    Died the sound of royal cheer;
    And they crossed themselves for fear,
    All the Knights at Camelot;
    But Lancelot mused a little space
    He said, “She has a lovely face;
    God in his mercy lend her grace,
    The Lady of Shalott.”
    Poem by the English poet Alfred, Lord Tennyson

  7. I have 2 thing to say:
    She needs to get her jaw fixed ASAP.
    I hate US Vogue so much because the photoshop is hideous.

  8. coma vigil

    at first i didn’t liked it, but after reading the comments and looking again at the photo. she was very beautiful.

  9. this is awful. her pose is completely awkward and her face suggests constipation.

  10. I would give her a less conservative, more edgy hair cut, fix her overly bowed and thin eyebrows and add a bit more colour to her lips. That would bring out her young, fierce nature.

  11. Jason Wu’s having a great year! Will he be the Oleg Cassini to Michelle Obama’s Jacqueline Onassis?

  12. her dress is lovely but the cover seems a little boring. still….i’m looking forward to getting vogue in the mail!!

  13. Seems more and more political related icons are into the world of fashion…Yulia, Carla…and now Michelle….LOL
    Anyway, good thing…hope one day Fashion plays in politics….POST MODERN RENAISSANCE!!!

  14. Her hair looks so bad and unkept, its like the intentionally wanted her to look bad, I don’t get why people are saying it’s fierce or beautiful, she could look much better. her smile is awkward and her teeth look weird plus the eyebrows look evil

  15. Look guys, aminin na natin lahat kesho nagpapa-diplomasya pa tayo…panget si Mrs. Obama. At siguro, nahirapan na ang Vogue pumili ng mas maganda pang shot w/ a better facial expression. Annie Leibovitz knows her job and I’m sure she used up extra rolls of film to make get a good photograph of the First Lady. But sad to say, panget is panget. That said, this is why Mrs. Obama really has to work extra hard to glam up and be fashyon. She has to choose her dresses carefully. I’m just glad this Jason Wu creation fits her. No more white prom dresses pleez!
    @BOSSchu, Carla Bruni was a fashion model even before she became Mrs. Nicolas Sarkozy.

  16. She COULD have been classy…but with that facial expression. Looks like she’s caught a wiff of terd.

  17. As much as I love Michelle, she bears a striking resemblance to one of our local drag queens.

  18. Hey Bryan! Is there a store who still sells this issue? I need one kasi eh… Thanks anyway!
