I just got back from the kitchen and I overheard some AM radio commentator make irresponsible comments about the global financial crisis. He went on and on and on about the recession in the United States and Europe and how it's not affecting the Philippines because majority of the Filipinos are having a hard time already. I have no idea what station or who the commentator was but I can't believe there are people out there who give such rubbish on the radio.

  1. Bravo.
I love it how you seem so frivolous yet you’re actually aware of what’s going on around you.

  2. i agree with what you said…because philippines and US have had, at the very least, numerous and very close business transactions over the years, it’s only natural that philippines will be affected by the crisis. I’ve even heard that should Sen. Barack Obama becomes persident of US, US will be minimizing, if not stop, outsourcing in the Philippines. Since Philippines relies, though not completely, to outsourcing to provide jobs, how could our country be insulated to the crisis?
