Christian Dior Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2008-2009 Video
I'm not really the most religious person on earth but praise Jesus hallelujah it's a meerakollllll! Big papi John has finally gone back to his senses and spared us from his 60s rut. Check out the following video previews and keep an eye out on John's confident poses. I can't wait to see the entire full-length vid. I have a feeling the soundtrack is gonna be gooood!
100% pure brilliance. 100% pure couture. Pictures to follow!

Was that Michaela Kocianova who opened the show? She's amazing. I'm pretty sure I saw Carol Trentini there, too:D:D

I do understand that this is Christian Dior and not John Galliano. I do understand maybe it's time for a change. I do understand that black and white for once is refreshing. I do understand that they've spent billions of trillions last year with all the parties and crazy couture and decadent collections. But I don't understand this.
I love all the ideas, all the pieces. I seriously do. I think the sheer garments were perfect. I didn't like the evening gowns, though. The whole thing is: is this Christian Dior by John Galliano or Christian Dior by the man himself? What's the purpose of going back to the New Look every single season? I don't see John Galliano in these clothes. I see Valentino. This is a Valentino show, with a touch of Lagerfeld belts. I am not disappointed. I just think that they're killing the artist. John is not the creative director anymore, he just designs to sell. Bring on John Galliano Haute Couture, please.
