Legendary designer Yves Saint Laurent dies at 71
PARIS (AP) — A longtime friend and associate of Yves Saint Laurent says the famed couturier has died at his Paris home at the age of 71.
Pierre Berge says that Saint Laurent died Sunday evening following a long illness. He did not give details.

Oh my god. OH MY GOD!!!!!! I'm in shock!!! Today is a very sad day... fashion is losing a lot of its old school icons.

YSL used the Ylang-Ylang flower scent (indigenous to the philippines, commonly used in the production of expensive perfumes) and patented it. Just a fact.

I heard of it. Yves Saint Laurent is my most favourite designer of all time. I'm in shock still. I think he is the last of the legendary designers after Coco Chanel and Christian Dior. Sigh. RIP Yves Henri Donat Dave Mathieu-Saint Laurent
