Common Projects, Theodore's, Pepper Lunch

Common Projects, Theodore's, Pepper Lunch

I'm officially going on a 1-week shopping shoe blogging ban starting today. I'm DUNZO with the shoes. DONE. DUNZO! Those Lanvins can go to someone else because there is absolutely no way I'm gonna be able to pay for them unless Lanvin menswear designer Lucas Ossendrijver decides to send them to me as a gift for my undying love for the grand house of Lanvin! Hahaha like that's gonna happen. Who do I think I am? Carrie -- as in -- Vivienne Westwood saw pictures of her in a wedding gown so she sent it for free along with a personal note -- Bradshaw? No. Hale no.

Anyhooooooooo. I just got back from the shops and what the heck, I bought the pair of gold Common Projects shoes I've been lusting over the weekend. I think I'm happy. For now at least. LOL. I better be happy because I'm hella broke.... but at least I have fabulous shoes! Hahaha! There goes the story of my life right there -- the Carriefication of Bryan!

I left the house at 7:30PM because those Common Projects were driving me insane. Unlike shops in western civilizations with barbaric and uncivilized closing hours, Theodore's the store closes at 10PM on weekdays.

My shoe obsession has gone way too far. All I do these days is spend hours browsing for shoes online. It's crazy.

All I want is to be able to sleep at night without thinking about shoes and now that I have this pair (and another one on my way), I'll finally put my shoe obsession to rest.

For those of you who are interested, Common Projects is available at one of my fave stores, TOBI. Click here to see a selection. They also have a sale going on (UGH!!!) so you may want to check them out. They're much, much, MUCHO cheaper online but I'm a very impatient person... I also didn't want to worry about duties, taxes, shipping and all that crap so I bought them here instead.

Enough about shoes.

After Theodore's, I went to Pepper Lunch for a quick chow.

One of my friends is not feeling well so I thought I'd cheer her up. I love Pepper Lunch. I really do. I had shimofuri pepper steak the last time so I tried something else.

This is my only meal for the night: spicy tuna salad.

Just kidding! I wish I had the discipline and self-control but we all know I'm a big glutton. Anyhoo. I ordered some miso soup. I also tried the hamburger steak with fried egg... it's lovely. Best burger EVAH!

With Asia undergoing a major rice crisis, I felt bad about not finishing my rice. I forgot to ask them NOT to serve me rice (which is included with my meal) because I'm avoiding carbs these days. I finished everything though. Yum! Another great dinner at Pepper Lunch!
