Advertorial: Olay Total Effects

Olay Total Effects

Controversial Filipina actress Gretchen Barretto (in yellow) is on the cover of Mega Magazine this month.

Gretchen Barretto, Mega Magazine

Like my friend Chuvaness, for a 40+ year old woman, she's really not bad looking. Click click click!

Personally, I prefer Gretchen without make-up. Here's an old photo of her when she was lobbying for my friend to win the Mega Style awards.

Gretchen is also my designer/milliner friend Mich's muse. In fact, I brought that hat with me to Sydney two months ago and I still have it because my friend is always too busy to meet up. Whatevs. LOL.

I've seen her in real life once and she does have beautiful skin. I don't know Gretchen personally and I don't think I want to know her because she's larger than life.

Gretchen Barretto, Mich Dulce

I can't for the life of god remember the exact words of Mich but she told me something how when Gretchen did the shoot for her MAC-sponsored, AIDS-awareness hat exhibit (photo above), Greta only wore lipstick and NOTHING else because of her Olay endorsement. She really believes in the product and uses it. I'm not kidding!

Gretchen Barretto, Olay

However... out of all the Olay endorsers, my favorite is my friend Daphne. That's because she's super pretty, she's super nice and yes, because I'm biased. At least I'm being HONEST! Hahaha! I'll never forget the first time we met (when she interviewed me for one of her TV shows many years ago)... she's really flawless and chica.

If you are Filipino I'm sure you'll take Daph over Greta (who probably doesn't even know how to use a keyboard haha just kidding) any time. There's just no comparison! Ultimately what it all boils down to at the end of the day is you tend to go for the people you personally know and who is close to you so I'm Team Daphne versus Team Greta. Hahaha!

Enough dilly-dally.
