The clothes! The shoes! The headpieces! OMG I **LOVE** the headpieces!!! You know what they remind me of? Chocolate shavings!!!! Yep! You know when you order desserts like cake or ice cream or what have you from a fancy schmancy place and they always have these chocolate shavings on top of the dessert? The headpieces remind me of those!!!

Anyway… on to the good stuff.

Marc did a complete 180 from Spring 2008′s colourful extravaganza.

Y’all know me… I’m terrible when it comes to putting my thoughts into writing but when I saw the collection as a whole, the words that came in my mind are: austere, cool, shapely, chic, refined and tailored. Very grown up! Even the set itself was soo cool. The background is fantastic! It’s like looking at the horizon… a sea of calm with all the models marching in the middle.

Here are some of my favourites…

I **LOVE** the oversized shirt collars! If I had to get one item from this collection that would be the white shirt…

This look is soo chica!!! Ooh la la!

I love these two jackets…

This one looks very chunky but cute. I know what you’re thinking… say what you want but I can tell you with honesty that I could see myself wearing that jacket in cold weather with some skinny black trousers and a big black clutch!

It’s nice to see my gurl Sofi! I also love this jacket/coat that’s fitted till the hips. Beautiful!

Sofi told me they did super late-night fittings for this show. Proof that everyone involved at Vuitton, from the design team to the models work really hard.

Those MC Hammeresque pants are all over the rage in Paris! Remember how when I first saw them at Dior Homme I was like "uhhhh no way Hoooo-sayyyyyyyyy"? Well, I’ve finally warmed up to them. I think it’s refereshing and it takes a heck of a lot of balls to pull them off.

In fact, I now want to get a pair of my own. I had a bitch fight with this girl from TFS when someone asked "who on earth would want to wear trousers the size of a tree". Well, I answered her question by posting these photos of women I found at garancedore, which is one of my new fave style websites.

I love the fur stole and the photo doesn’t give the skirt justice… it looks so much better on the video.
The shape is incredible! Not sure about the bag though…

There’s a new speedy in town and I love it!!

The iconic speedy now comes with all the lettering engraved on the leather. Is this going to be a new ‘line’ at Vuitton? Only time will tell…

Out of all the bags in the collection, I personally love this clutch. I know, I know, but there’s something about that piece that makes me quite drawn to it. Oohh to look at things we all can’t afford. The dress is quite chic, too.

Nice eh? Let’s not even start with the shoes. The shoes I love so much!!!

The only thing that left me scratching my head was Miss Disney Ice Princess…

if memory serves me right, (I could be wrong here), I don’t recall
seeing a gown at Vuitton in the past and this is an interesting move
for Marc.

Overall, I like this collection. It’s very sophisticated and chic.
