So there I was, hopping from one blog to another, and I found this page from the latest issue of Preview Magazine (Jan/Feb 2008).

  1. this is the reason why the Philippines will never have its own edition of Vogue. Sometimes, I get to chance upon nice editorials at Preview or Mega but it’s like once in a million years… I remember the Henry Holland shirts last season that a lot of Filipinos tried to copy…so loserville! I’m still hoping though for the Filipino designers with their new stores in GB5 to make it big globally.

  2. well just have to keep working hard!!! :P and dream big… and hope fully vogue will land in philipine soon !

  3. “…You’re also blithely unaware of the fact that in 2002, Oscar De La Renta did a collection of cerulean gowns. And then I think it was Yves St Laurent, wasn’t it, who showed cerulean military jackets? And then cerulean quickly showed up in the collections of 8 different designers. Then it filtered down through the department stores and then trickled on down into some tragic casual corner where you, no doubt, fished it out of some clearance bin….” TSK TSK TSK!

  4. Oh yeah, and btw…BALENCIAGA IS OPENING IN GREENBELT 5! The sign says [BALENCIAGA PROCHAINE OUVERTURE UNE BOUTIQUE PAR HOMME ET FEMME]. You read that right…Homme et Femme is bringing Balenciaga to the third world…and the best thing about it is that IT’S NOT SSI! HAHAHAHA!
