Under Pressure – Queen

Here’s something for the weekend. Best song EVER. Gimme gimme more can kiss my butt crack. How come nobody makes music like this these days? You *HAVE* to watch this  video of Freddie Mercury at the Wembley Stadium. The response from the crowd it the beginning.. sooo powerful, sooo moving. So amazing! Watch him perform. I have no words.

Pressure pushing down on me… pressing down on you no man ask for. Under pressure that burns a building down. Splits a family in two… puts people on streets. Um ba ba bay Um ba ba bay Dee day duh Ee day duh thats ok. It’s the terror of knowing what this world is about. Watching some good friends screaming let me out! Pray tomorrow takes me high high higher. Pressure on people… people on streets

Insanity laughs under pressure we’re cracking… Can’t we give ourselves one more chance? Why can’t we give love that one more chance? Why can’t we give love give love give love? Give love give love give love give love give love give love?

Cause love’s such an old fashioned word… and love dares you to care… for the people on the edge of the night… And love dares you to change our way. Of caring about ourselves… This is our last dance… This is our last dance… This is ourselves.

  1. OMG I love Freddie Mercury. He’s legendary! I know I wasn’t born yet when he was around but that’s the beauty of good music — their legacy lives on for future generations to come.
Someone tell that to the Britneys and the Ashley Simpsons of today.. lol

OMG! That is exactly what I say.. why can’t music be like this today? I can’t think of an equivalent to Freddie today… His talent, as a composer, musician, vocalist and the way he moved people are unsurpassed. All stupid bitches BETTER respect!
