California Fires

California Fires

Apparently over 500,000 (five hundred thousand) people have evacuated their homes in Southern California because of the wildfires. I know this is a silly question but why on earth can’t the US government, one of (if not) the most powerful countries on earth with a huge amount of resources, military and financially, act on a federal level and do something to control the fires? It’s funny how they can bomb countries in a heartbeat but they can’t even send their entire air force to do one of those fake rain/cloud seeding things.

War against terror you say?  I don’t know about you but the only thing y’all should be focusing on right now is the war against flamers! Oh well. My thoughts and prayers are with you South California folk.

Let’s talk about fashion now. Exposing myself to things like this make me depressed.

  1. What an out of character post. Are you coming down with a fever?
I do think it’s strangely beautiful though
‘one of (if not) the most ‘ yeah, definitely ‘most’ dude.

  2. The USA spends all its much money waging wars in other countries, feeding useless countries like North Korea and those in Africa, and giving welfare to illegal immigrants…so it says fuck you to it’s own people!!!!

  5. Well what do you know, that’s something we have in common Valley Girl.
By the way, Bryan thank you so much for having your site’s codes, technical stuff, checked. I can obviously access your shrine again. And it’s so great of you to actually respond thru text.

  6. Uhm… Katrina happened and you know how that went. It’s just that rich and famous people live there(Cali) so it’s getting more attention than Katrina.

  7. Although I do agree with the other people’s comments about US being a war-monger, I do have to say that with the conditions we had with the extreme Santa Ana winds (its like a really bad typhoon in the Philippines but no rain) and the horrible drought conditions we have here for the past year ( we got only about 4 inches of rain the entire year, thats probably the same amount you guy’s get in a bad storm) it was nearly impossible to control the fire. I live about a mile from the Santiago Fire (the Orange County one pictured above) and it got pretty scary. As for the seeding clouds…it does’nt work if you have really low humidity, you can’t induce rain from clouds if its devoid of water. People forget that most of Southern California is a desert.

  10. Reports say arsonists set fires in several places. Could this be an attempt to rev up the downslide in the US real estate and home financing industry? Nothing’s impossible these days.
